What is the purpose/goal of this trip/short course?
Join the Makers Movement! Makers are people who love to tinker. Makers explore and create. They love to collaborate and share what they have learned. And what do Makers make? Anything they want! Art, music, community service projects, robots, cars, toys, wearable e-textiles, and electronic gizmos to name a few. NCCS Makers will begin by experimenting with Arduino microcontrollers to play with lights, music, buttons, and motors. Then students will work alone or in groups to "make" whatever they want using their own personal Arduinos (which they will keep at the end of Spring Term).

Arduino microcontroller and related hardware; off-campus excursion for service project/field trip

Lunch during the week
