What is the purpose/goal of this trip/short course?
This short course is designed for the student who wants to explore culinary cooking. Whether preparing a gourmet meal or party food for friends, these hands-on classes give you the opportunity to get your hands dirty. Learn by doing as skilled instructors form the Viking Cooking School guide you through all the techniques needed to prepare an amazing menu to enjoy. Culinary Classes will include: One-day culinary basic, Breakfast Cookery, Party Food for Families, Cupcake & Cake Balls. On Friday, we will take a behind the scenes tour of a restaurant located in historic Roswell. The Mill Kitchen and Bar is the quintessential Southern neighborhood restaurant. There will be team bonding as students compete in our own “NCCS Food Network” challenges.

What does the cost include?
Cost includes transportation, 15 hours of cooking classes, 4 lunches and snacks, behind the scenes tour of restaurant, ingredients for challenges and service project, apron, spring term t-shirt

1 lunch and souvenirs
